📍Location:
Burton Latimer.

🕐Shifts:
No fixed shifts.
Required to work between 6am-10pm.
37.5 hours a week.

💸Salary:
£35,000-£40,000.

💼Main role:
•To assist the Senior Operations Manager in delivering operational & service excellence.
•To be part of the management team running the overall BRS Burton Latimer operation on a day-to-day basis.
Collaborating with all departments to ensure we maximise customer profitability and service levels through KPI, cost management and lean processes.

Duties:
•Management of shift teams
•Management of direct reports
•Ensure one way of working across the operation
•Leadership of the Warehouse team
•Create environment of continuous improvement & learning
•Ownership and understanding of all operational aspects for each customer
•Reduce number of accidents through increased H&S initiatives & improved behaviours
•Contingency cover and succession planning for key roles to ensure clear progression pipeline and business continuity
•Ensure operations team are engaged with a clear communication plan that includes regular 1-2-1s and team meetings
•Ensure compliance to process in line with process & company handbook
•Operate to expectations outlined within KPI’s and report performance accordingly
•Deliver exceptional levels of service to our customers, internal & external
•Design, implement and maintain a robust set of standard operating procedures
•Carry out informal performance management reviews, return to work interviews, mispick investigations and team communications.

Requirements:
•Excellent IT skills, good verbal and written presentation skills, confidence in dealing with senior management and customers
•Numerate, bright, enthusiastic, self-sufficient, self-starter, confident, analytical, inquisitive, ability to progress to Head of Operations level in future
•Proven track record of managing large operational teams
•Strong financial & budgeting capability / compliance
•High degree of flexibility – last minute changes to working hours, days as required to meet the expectations & commitments of the role.
