Production Supervisor (Monday to Friday day shift hours only!)

Hours of work 8am to 5pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and versatile and well organised Production Supervisor to join a small yet well established packaging manufacturing firm who are specialists in their industry.

Salary: £23 to £25K – Depending on exp

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm pm Friday

We are currently looking to recruit a hands on Production Supervisor who will take autonomy of the supervisory need for the site, duties will include but will not be restricted to:

Supervising a team of between 5 and 10 Production Operators on a daily basis, making sure that all operators are aware of their job role requirements.
Assisting Site Manager with production planning.
Ensuring all production targets are meet on a daily basis, to required quality standards. Completing all audit traceable documentation for the department.

You’ll be expected to set and maintain high performance standards for self and others that support the overall Company objectives. Manage resources to ensure build plan is met and communicates any barriers to achieving this in time for action to be taken.

Monitor KPI’s and develop continuous improvement activities including but not limited to Quality, Efficiency – output and Overtime.

Monitoring H&S, and general staffing issues on a daily basis i.e Time and Attendance and Holidays.

Computer literate as the role involves the use of systems including Microsoft applications and AX

The successful Production Supervisor will have previous hands on supervisory experience from a manufacturing background, with working knowledge of control systems standards/requirements would be a massive advantage. As an individual it is essential that you are able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task, prioritise and communicate well with others.
